Basic Specification

A Range of economical low pass filters for use in low specification 4:2:2 type applications. Based on fifth order cauer design, they have been tailored to meet specific stopband requirements. Group delay equalisation has been added as required, as has gain equalisation to compensate for the sinx/x loss due to sampling.

P407 Notch at 27.0MHz, to be greater than 50dB in depth w.r.t. passband, sinx/x equalised for 27.0MHz sampling rate.
P408 Notch at 13.5MHz, to be greater than 50dB in depth w.r.t. passband, sinx/x equalised for 13.5MHz sampling rate.
A409 Notch at 36.0MHz, to be greater than 50dB in depth w.r.t. passband.
